Wowieeeee, it has been a long time since I last blogged. Apologies for the distance- these past few months have been very busy in Berlin. This post is about the area I am sadly moving out of in a couple of days, Neukölln. I will be moving to Friedrichshain at the beginning of May.
The area is situated beside Kreuzberg(also known as Kreuzkölln)and is synonymous with free-willing, multi-cultural and alternative Berlin. I moved to this area in January, not knowing much about it, but to soon realise that I had managed to find a flat in a very sought after district in Berlin. Weserstrasse the street I have been living on is at the heart of all the action; bars, clubs, cafes, shops, vintage stores and restaurants are what you'll find along this street, along with a canal and Turkish market just a 5 minute walk away. These photos include some of my favourite parts of Weserstrasse, and Neukölln...including the loft apartment I have been living in (excuse the messy room). Bully's bakery and it's insanely good flammkuchen and selection of sweet delicacies will be greatly missed.
